Thomas Retzlaff has been in the news nationally because of his law suit with Jason Lee Van Dyke, lawyer and leader (briefly) of the Proud Boys.
Van Dyke has a reputation for being a racist hot head with a nasty mouth. Because of this, one might think Van Dyke is the bad guy and Retzlaff is the good guy in the law suit. In reality, both men are bad guys. And if you’re going to compare the two, Retzlaff is far worse.
Among the charges that landed Retzlaff in prison was the rape of his wife. A court appointed psychiatrist stated je had latent pedophile tendencies, which was one of the factors that prompted the courts to remove any parental rights he had over his two children. Retzlaff is required to register as a sex offender in the community he lives in. He has never done this.
Thomas Retzlaff has a long history of stalking and harassment. Though he never attended law school, he often passes himself off as a lawyer. He’s also posed as an Army combat veteran using uniforms and medals he purchased online.
Retzlaff has a penchant for using the courts to harass his victims by filing frivolous law suits. In 2008, Retzlaff was declared a vexatious litigant in the state of Texas, however he is currently involved in a much publicized law suit with former Proud Boy lawyer, Jason Lee Van Dyke.
Thomas Retzlaff is a member of the White Nationalist, neo-Nazi online forum, Stormfront. He created the social media account, @Klansmann on Twitter.
Retzlaff has numerous online aliases and accounts that he uses to harass his victims. His primary victim has been his daughter. Retzlaff used a hidden camera in his bathroom to take nude pictures of his adult daughter. He then posted the revenge porn pictures across the internet.
Retzlaff seems to be obsessed with pornography, including child porn and revenge porn, as an expression of free speech under the second amendment. Retzlaff has a history of going after individuals who become media heroes for going after child pornographers and revenge pornographers.
Retzlaff is alleged to be an obsessive compulsive sociopath, incapable of feeling remorse, guilt, shame, or empathy. People who cross him are likely to be targets of an endless Retzlaff vendetta, where they, along with their family and friends, are subjected to harassment and threats by social media, email, phone calls, or law suits.
